Employment Challenges and Compliance Amidst the Coronavirus Outbreak

From advising employers how to respond when an employee tests positive for coronavirus to counseling employees afraid of catching it at the office, we are working around the clock to help everyone navigate the uncharted legal waters sparked by the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic, which caused many employers to close their doors and many employees to work from home. On March 18th, President Donald Trump signed the second coronavirus aid package, H.R. 6201 (The Families First Coronavirus Response Act), into law. The final bill included some significant policy changes from the original proposals that were intended to address both the impacts on small businesses and individuals. This is a time for everyone to be looking at not only what you are legally required to do, but at what the right thing to do is given the information that we have.
